Cock-a-doodle is a people-powered project by Indu Harikumar. It documented people’s relationship with their lover’s penis. Owners of penises couldn’t share stories about theirs.
During the project, people shared stories of what people with penises have told them — about condoms sliding over their member, what works for them sexually, how hard they tried to please. The emotions they shared traversed an entire spectrum; people complained, were angry, had mixed feelings, and shared delicious adventures with penises they had seen, stroked, licked, loathed, or loved.
Why this project? To know what holders of a penis talk about their organ, how they please or not their partners, and to discover this complex and complicated relationship of desire, pleasure, abuse and power.
