R talks about the best two weeks in Uppsala, Sweden.
“Two years ago I was in Uppsala in Sweden on an exchange programme. While I was there, I volunteered at a student restaurant. I’d wash dishes, post dinner. One night as I was washing dishes, a very attractive young man kept bringing in dishes to me. Though I thought he was good looking we didn’t get a chance to chat.
After I finished work, we got chatting and I thought he was very charming. We both left at the same time and parted ways. On the way home, I felt terrible that I hadn’t asked him his name or number, but alas, it was too late.
In the many months I was in Uppsala, our paths didn’t cross.
Then two weeks before I was to leave Sweden, I found him on Tinder!
I have never ever been more happier to see someone on Tinder. I swiped him right and we had a match.
I messaged him immediately. He replied back, he said that he had regretted not asking me out that night. In my last two weeks in Sweden, we hung out all the time, talked for hours together and got to know each other quite well.
My last night in Sweden resulted in us sleeping together. I asked him why he’d waited so long and his response was, “I didn’t know you were keen.” My time with him was very special, especially because it was the first time I had had sex. It has been two years and I don’t mind that we haven’t spoken since then. It’s just one of those perfect memories I have of my time abroad! He gave me the most perfect 2 weeks with a sweet little ending and I couldn’t have asked for a better end to my time abroad.”
