“I absolutely love getting clicked in lingerie or even naked (discovered recently). I often click myself in lacy bras and my breasts have been my favourite subject for a long time now. The play of light and shadow on the skin, the curves, the bones, looking at myself with all the banal pleasures of voyeurism is quite uplifting. These are pictures that aren’t meant for anyone, I mostly just click them for fun. The pseudo photo shoots make me feel sexy and empowered in a way very few things do.
Slipping into sexy lingerie and boudoir photography may sound like the most clichéd feminine/fashion shots used mostly as ‘women empowerment’campaigns. But what if these clichés make sense to someone and offer joy, even momentarily? I for one, can vouch for the amount of confidence and sense of liberation these pictures give me.
We often discard the clichés because they are, well, clichés. But why ignore superficial transient happiness just because it is derived from a clichéd source?
BRB, going to apply that hot pink lipstick and get back to my favourite subject with some fairy lights for more drama – and yet another cliché! ;)”
They wanted to be drawn “floating on water, along with some seaweed.”
